WUHAN, CHINA — Canada’s Gabriela Dabrowski and Brazil’s Luisa Stefani won the Wuhan Open doubles championship on October 18, defeating defending champions Storm Hunter and Katerina Siniakova 7–5, 6–4.
The top-seeded partnership completed Sunday’s final in one hour and 32 minutes, according to the WTA’s match report. It was their third consecutive title and sixth of the season.
Dabrowski and Stefani led 4–1 in the opening set before their opponents recovered. A break in the 12th game gave them the set, and they broke twice in the second while losing serve once.
The result gives Dabrowski 26 career WTA doubles titles, including eight at WTA 1000 events. Stefani now has 19 tour-level doubles titles, six in that category.
The partners have won eight titles together. Their 2026 victories also include Dubai, Strasbourg, Eastbourne, Sao Paulo and Beijing.
Both players have qualified for next month’s WTA Finals in Indian Wells. Tennis Canada’s preview identifies this as their first appearance there as a team; Dabrowski previously won the Finals with Erin Routliffe in 2024.
